Finally Got An Answer on Afghanistan
Well I finally got an answer from the chain of command after waiting for a month on whether or not I am going to Afghanistan and I'm happy to announce that I will NOTbe going. Talk about a nice Christmas present.
In celebration I'm posting this video from the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Click the play button to watch the video. Merry Christmas one and all!
I'm 5 ft 5 inches tall, average weight, short brown hair, and brown eyes. I grew up in a military family and have lived all over Canada. Currently I call Kitchener Ontario my home.
I’m somewhat of a quiet guy, which is great for listening to what others are saying. In my spare time I enjoy travelling and seeing new places, playing around with my computer, experimenting with photography, or just relaxing and watching movies.
I'm a Network Security Analyst working at Research In Motion (the BlackBerry people). Prior to this I was a Signals Operator (formerly known as a Radio Operator) in the Canadian military for 24 years. I've been a peacekeeper overseas, twice to Cyprus (1990 and 92), once to Turkey with the Disaster Assistance Response Team (1999), once to Bosnia (2001), and once to Afghanistan (2003).

I'm glad to hear that. It's not a great place right now. Take care.
